How do people with 3 kids have sex exactly?

So I know this is a great subject here...lol. But I mean really how do people with 3 kids have sex? There are no worries about a 4th here! My husband and I have affectionately named them cock blockers #1,2 and 3 and hey we are throwing my mom in as #4. Because it never fails...when we do find 5 spare minutes somewhere in our days there is a CB lurking. And no mom if we don't answer the home phone or our cell phones we are probably just trying to get it on...we are not all dead. PROMISE.

Tattoo #2 dedicated to my kiddos.

I have been planning on getting a tattoo dedicated to my kids for quite awhile now. Since Josh and I decided that we are satisfied with our family of 5 I decided that now was the perfect time to take the plunge!
Photobucket

This is on my right inner wrist incase you couldn't tell. This picture was taken about an hour after getting the tattoo so it still has some healing to do. The aqua star is for my dear Kaylee Bug who was born in March. The orange star is for my happy boy Jase-a-roo who was born in November. The green star is for my bright eyed Greyson who was born in May. As I mentioned this is my second tattoo. The first was when I was freshly 18 and went to the tattoo parlor and pointed in the book to decide what I wanted. My star tattoo I planned and thought about for quite awhile before getting it done. I told the tattoo artist what I wanted and he sketched it up. One of a kind. So I am all for tattoos when they are meaningful. I think everyone should have at least one...even if it isn't in a visible place. I am the first and only of my brothers and sisters to get a tattoo. I figure if someone has to be the "black sheep" it may as well be me! :0)

It's been awhile...

So life seems to have consumed what little time I have to blog these days. Then I find myself thinking...what should I blog about? Do people really want to hear about my boring days? Well guess what you are gettin it anyway. So there.

I started a "diet" on August 25th and have been religiously using my exercise bike daily for 30-45 minutes usually cycling about 7-10 miles. I have been eating like a frigging bird. The wonderful world of healthy foods for a picky girl like me is no fun at all. I find myself eating the same things over and over and over again. I am so tired of food I wish I didn't need it. So anyway I have lost a total of 13 pounds. It was 14 but somehow I gained a pound last week. I didn't do anything differently which makes it worse. I feel like I should have gone and had a double cheeseburger. Damn you 1 pound. I mean how can you exercise everyday and eat like a bird and still gain a damn pound? I'm a little bitter if you couldn't tell. I am blaming it on Aunt Flo's soon to be visit and hoping like hell I lose this week.

Other than that...Greyson will be 4 months old in 2 days. He really is a good natured baby but sure does not like to sleep. Jase is growing and learning new things everyday. I am busy planning his upcoming 2nd B-day party. Kaylee Elaine is doing well in school. She comes home from school every night and we do her homework and then she is off to do her own thing.

Other than that I have just been busy doing normal Goddess things. Laundry, Poopy diapers, dishes, housework...ya know...the glamorous stuff. Until next time loyal reader(s)...

There's bears in them there woods!

Thought I would share a funny story about my daughter Kaylee and my dad. They were sitting on a neighbor's retaining wall eating peanuts and studying the woods. They even spotted a few deer. Now if you know Kaylee you understand the scope of a 20 minute conversation with her. The girl loves to talk and asks as many questions that she can to feed that growing brain of hers. Here is how the conversation between Grampy and Kaylee went that night...
Kaylee..."Grampy do bears live in these woods?"
Grampy..."Well I imagine that they do Kaylee" (Insert Grampy-like growl.)
Kaylee..."Grampy what do bears eat?"
Grampy..."Little girls." (Insert another Grampy-like growl.)
Kaylee..."Grampy...nu uh. What do they really eat?"
Grampy..."Honey."
Kaylee..."Uhhhh Grampy?"
Grampy..."Yes Kaylee?"
Kaylee..."These peanuts aren't honey roasted are they?"

:) :) :) :)

Been working on this one for awhile.

Well I have been thinking on this for a few days. How to put my sister Dana into words? Hmmmm. Easier said than done. Dana is my older sister. She is older by 8 years if I am doing the math correctly. (Sorry if I made you older than you are sis!) We shared a room and heck even bunk beds at one point. By the time I was a teenager she was away at school and then married and off in other states with her hubby CPV. But looking back at growing up I do have many fond memories and some pretty darn funny ones.

-One of my earliest memories is of lying in my crib and Dana talking to me. Don't ask me how I remember this but I can see it perfectly in my mind.

-Cabbage patch dolls, barbies and tea parties.

-Back yard circus Y'all!!!

-Dana's signature perm. (sorry!)

-I slightly recall a drunk on wine Dana climbing into my top bunk one night and dutch ovening me...HAHA! Yes I went there D.

-Visiting Dana and Chad's beach house in Florida while Chad was in pilot school and our little brother asking where Chad slept.

-How beautiful and happy she looked on her wedding day.

-Many visits home that never lasted long enough.

-Being the most scared to tell her I was pregnant with Kaylee at 18 because I didn't want her to be disappointed in me. Of course it wasn't that way at all!

-Seeing her hold my nephew Grant, then my daughter Kaylee and son Jase.

-Knowing she was pregnant when she came home over Christmas 06 before she could even tell me.

-Seeing the way she absolutely GLOWED during pregnancy.

-Conversations about her chottie being all yotti yotti after childbirth. I reassured her that this wasn't the case.

-Her asking me advice on pregnancy which really meant the world to me.

-Seeing her tiny belly grow and grow through pictures.

-Talking to her on the way to the hospital to have Natalie and wishing I could be there with her.

-Seeing the pictures of my beautiful one and only niece Natalie and my big sis just as proud as could be.

-Being so proud of my sister because childbirth and motherhood is no easy task.

-Watching a couple become a family. (Thanks to THOUSANDS of pictures of the most photographed baby in WA)

-Meeting Natalie for the first time...babies are so precious. Especially NHV and her beautiful blue eyes.

-Seeing Dana be a mother which I am convinced she was born to do.

-Seeing Natalie, Kaylee, Jase and Greyson all in my house together after Greyson was born.

I guess this brings us to present day. Natalie is growing and learning and is such a smart and beautiful little girl. She has personality out the wazoo which is no surprise to me being in this family. It makes me so sad that we can't take the kids to the park together on a nice day...but I know that she feels the same way and maybe someday we will live close enough to do that. Until then her through the year visits that can never last long enough will do. Maybe I will get brave and load my 3 kids on the plane and visit soon. But anyway I have gotten off track. This was a not so little blog about my sister Dana and my niece Natalie. I miss and love you both so much!

In response to my dear sister Dana's post about B's flattened...

On my sister Dana's blog http://mommybrainnw.blogspot.com/ she recently blogged about breast feeding robbing her of her C's. Well Dana, at least your bra isn't the size of your nearly 2 year old! HAHA!
Photobucket
Sorry the picture is of bad quality. I snapped it with my camera phone.

So please don't feel badly my dear sister Dana...at least your bra for your B's flattened could not be used as a parachute in case of an emergency. :)

SHOTTV

SHOTTV- May look like just 5 letters to you. But to me it means so much more. SHOTTV encompasses sisterhood, compassion, caring, and some of the saddest and happiest moments for me in the past year. SHOTTV better known as the Sisterhood of the Travelling Vajayjays is a group of just over 40 women on www.babycenter.com from all over the US and beyond that met out of tragedy and have stuck together for over a year. Through our sadness have come happy moments and unfortunately a few sad times as well. We all suffered miscarriages in May, June or July of 2007. We met each other looking for support in trying to conceive again. We have cried together, laughed together and have rooted each other on through getting pregnant, pregnancies full of worry, recurrent losses for some, births, motherhood, and just everyday life. We have had 28 births of beautiful healthy babies. We have 12 pregnant sisters due anywhere between September and February and 4 of our sisters still on the frustrating and often unfair journey of trying to conceive. I was kind of adopted as the board momma in the beginning and have had the great pleasure of keeping track of everyone's progress along the way. This has helped me learn so much about each and every member of SHOTTV and learn to appreciate the scope of 40 women with different personalities getting along without any major issues. This in the world of women is unheard of. It just goes to show when you put your differences behind and truly care for people without judgement or prejudice how rewarding it can be for all parties involved. So I say to my SHOTTV sisters thank you. Each and every one of you has had an impact on my life and helped me get through a time of hopelessness, worry and confusion. When no one else understood you did. I am hoping for many more years of getting to know you all. And to my other readers (if I have any...lol) Thank you for reading.

What makes me a Goddess you ask?

The definition of Goddess is...

1. A female being of supernatural powers or attributes, believed in and worshiped by a people.

Okay so let's break this down. Female...Check. Supernatural powers...check. Believed in...check. Worshiped by a people...Check.

So obviously I am a woman and wife and mother to 3.

My supernatural powers include feeding a baby with one eye open while fighting off sleep, peeing while feeding a baby because my bladder is going to explode(pulling the undies up is the hard part), changing multiple poopy diapers daily that would make a grown man cry, finding time to shower once a day, remembering the words/dances to all of the Wiggles songs, keeping up with all of the new "cool" tween things such as Hannah Montana and the Jonas Brothers, calling all 3 kids by their correct names(most times), keeping a pretty darn clean house if I do say so myself, reading books while feeding a baby and bouncing a 37 pound child on my foot, and conquering laundry mountains the size of the Himalayas. Of course these are only a few of my motherly supernatural powers. Other supernatural powers may or may not include still trying to be sexy while having that lovely spit-up on smell. Sorry hubby!

I am believed in by my family and friends.

And finally the definition of "a people" is more than one person and I have 3 that worship me for simply being their mother.

This is why I think that not just myself but all mothers should be considered to be a Goddess and held in the highest regard! If you have any supernatural powers please comment. I would love to hear about them.

Welcome I hope I don't bore you to death!

So here I am looking for a way to express myself and feel like I talk to other adults since I am 98% of the time a stay at home mom. Call it a bitch-fest or a bragging page if you must. My grammar is not perfect and my mouth may tend to be that of a sailor sometimes. If this isn't your thing...don't let the door hit ya where that good lord split ya! Anyone still left reading?

My name is Laura and I have been VERY happily married to Josh for 5 years come November. My husband and I have been together for 7.5 years and we have one daughter who is 6.5 named Kaylee, a son Jase who will be 2 in November, one angel baby and our son Greyson who is 3 months old. We also have Pepper a black cat that wanders about as she pleases. I work part time as a waitress 1-2 days a week to have my adult time and Josh works in retail management. Our parenting style is pretty laid back. We like to have fun and play but also expect a certain level of respect and discipline from our kids. We also enjoy those days that seem to be too few and far between that we all get to stay in our pjs and snuggle all day.

That was a loose explanation of "me" and my family and I hope to share more as we go along. Thanks for reading!
